It is intended for babies with an increased risk of allergy — typically when a parent or sibling has eczema, asthma, hay fever or a food allergy. Speak to your doctor before choosing it.
Not suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy. Do not use HiPP HA if your baby has, or may have, a cow's milk protein allergy. Its protein is not broken down far enough for babies with this allergy; they need a formula recommended by their doctor.
It contains natural lactic acid cultures and prebiotic fibres (GOS), and has no starch, maltodextrin, added sweeteners or soy.
Carbohydrates. Lactose is the only carbohydrate.
Proteins. Hydrolysed whey protein.
Fats. Includes DHA (omega-3).

كيفية التحضير والتخزين
الخطوة 1:
Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approx. 40–50 °C.*

Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see feeding table) into a feeding bottle.

Measure the recommended amount of powder (see feeding table). Fill the scoop loosely and level it off. Add the powder to the water.

Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.

Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). Check the temperature.
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures, do not prepare the formula with water that is too hot. The powder is subject to natural colour variations due to its raw materials.
1 level scoop = approx. 4.5 g. Standard preparation: 13.4 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml of ready-to-drink formula. One scoop of powder needs 30 ml of water. One pack makes 44 bottles of 100 ml. Babies need approx. 5 meals a day; with every new, fully introduced complementary meal, one bottle feed should be dropped. Every baby is different: the amounts and number of feeds per day are guidelines only, and your baby does not have to finish the bottle. HiPP HA 2 COMBIOTIK® is tailored to the special nutritional needs of your baby after the 6th month: following breastfeeding or following a hydrolysed infant formula. Follow-on formula should not be used as a breast-milk substitute in the first six months; ask your paediatrician or midwife for advice if your baby needs it earlier as part of a mixed diet.

- Prepare the formula freshly before every meal and feed immediately; do not reuse leftovers

- Do not heat the formula in the microwave (risk of scalding)
- Reseal the opened bag well after use, store dry at room temperature and use within 3 weeks
- HiPP HA 2 COMBIOTIK® must not be used if your baby already has a cow's milk protein allergy or if one is suspected
- Like breast milk, all infant formulas contain carbohydrates. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay. Do not let your child suck on the bottle continuously, and let your child drink from a cup as early as possible

Babies with a cow's milk protein allergy need an extensively hydrolysed or amino-acid-based formula, which your doctor can advise on.
Is HiPP German HA Stage 2 organic?
No. HiPP German HA Stage 2 is not certified organic. It is made by HiPP in Germany under the same EU rules for follow-on formula as every HiPP formula.
Is HiPP German HA Stage 2 gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. HiPP German HA Stage 2 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does HiPP German HA Stage 2 contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP German HA Stage 2 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP German HA Stage 2 also contains higher iron levels than HA Stage 1 to support your growing baby.
Does HiPP German HA Stage 2 contain probiotics?
Yes. HiPP German HA Stage 2 contains natural lactic acid cultures originally derived from breast milk, alongside prebiotic fibres (GOS).
How is HiPP German HA different from regular HiPP German formula?
The main difference is the protein. In HiPP German HA the whey protein is hydrolysed — broken into smaller pieces — while regular HiPP German uses intact milk protein. HiPP German HA is not organic, and every HA stage is lactose-only and starch-free, whereas most regular HiPP German stages contain organic starch.
How many bottles does one box of HiPP German HA Stage 2 make?
Each box contains 600 g of powder and makes approximately 4.4 litres (150 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 22 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many boxes of HiPP German HA Stage 2 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 5.5 boxes a month from 6 to 8 months, dropping to around 4 a month from 8 to 12 months as solid foods increase. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
What comes after HiPP German HA Stage 2?
HA Stage 2 is the last HiPP German HA stage we carry. From 12 months, talk to your doctor about whether your child still needs a hydrolysed formula or can move to a regular toddler milk or cow's milk.
