Is this product right for my baby?
Holle Stage 2 Organic Goat Milk Formula is for babies from 6-10 months and can be used either as a supplement to breastmilk, or as your baby’s only milk alongside solid food.
It’s made from organic whole goat’s milk instead of cow’s milk. Goat’s milk proteins are similar to cow’s milk proteins, so if your baby has, or may have, a cow’s milk protein allergy, only use it on your doctor’s advice.
Holle Goat contains no corn syrup or other refined sweeteners, and no palm oil.
We understand that babies are often picky eaters. If your baby doesn’t like Holle Goat, we’ll provide a store credit so you can try another brand on us (and we have other goat’s milk formulas in store).

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Boil water and allow it to cool down to approx. 50 °C. Pour half of the water into the feeding bottle (see the feeding table for the amount).
Step 2:
Measure the amount of powder according to the feeding table and add it to the bottle. Fill the scoop loosely and level it off with the back of a knife.
Step 3:
Shake the powder and half of the water vigorously. Add the remaining water and shake well again.
Step 4:
Allow to cool to drinking temperature (37 °C).
1 level scoop = 4.5 g. Standard preparation: 13.5 g powder + 90 ml boiled water = 100 ml of ready-to-drink formula. One pack makes approx. 30 feeds of 100 ml. The amounts and number of feeds per day are guidelines only; small individual deviations are harmless and perfectly natural.
Care Instructions:
- Follow the preparation instructions exactly; the correct dosage gives your baby the nutrients it needs
- Use only the enclosed measuring scoop
- Improper preparation and storage can harm your baby's health
- Always prepare each bottle freshly; do not reuse leftovers
- Do not heat the formula in the microwave (risk of overheating)
- Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly
- After opening, use within 3 weeks

What age is Holle Goat Stage 2 for?
Holle Goat Stage 2 is a follow-on formula for babies from 6 months, alongside solid foods. From 10 months, you can move on to Holle Goat Stage 3.
Is Holle Goat Stage 2 right for my baby?
Holle Goat Stage 2 is a follow-on formula made from organic whole goat's milk, for healthy babies from 6 months alongside a growing weaning diet. Alongside lactose, it contains maltodextrin and a small amount of organic starch. It is not a treatment for tummy troubles or allergy. If your baby has a diagnosed food allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.
Can Holle Goat Stage 2 be used for a cow's milk protein allergy?
Not without your doctor's advice. Goat's milk proteins are very similar to cow's milk proteins, and many babies who react to one also react to the other. If your baby has, or may have, a cow's milk protein allergy, only use goat's milk formula on your doctor's advice.
Is Holle Goat Stage 2 organic and Demeter certified?
Holle Goat Stage 2 is EU organic certified, and about three-quarters of its ingredients (74%) come from Demeter-certified biodynamic farming. It contains no GMOs and no added sugars such as corn syrup or sucrose.
Is Holle Goat Stage 2 gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. Holle Goat Stage 2 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does Holle Goat Stage 2 contain starch or maltodextrin?
Yes. Alongside lactose, Holle Goat Stage 2 contains maltodextrin and a small amount of organic starch (0.5 g per 100 ml).
Does Holle Goat Stage 2 contain palm oil?
No. Holle's goat's milk formulas are made without palm oil, using organic sunflower and rapeseed oil.
Does Holle Goat Stage 2 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. The DHA in Holle comes from algae rather than fish oil. Holle Goat Stage 2 also contains iron, calcium and vitamins A, C and D.
Does Holle Goat Stage 2 contain probiotics?
No. Holle formula contains no lactic acid cultures and no added prebiotic fibres such as GOS.
How many bottles does one box of Holle Goat Stage 2 make?
Each box contains 400 g of powder and makes approximately 3 litres (100 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 15 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many boxes of Holle Goat Stage 2 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 6 boxes a month from 6 to 10 months, based on three 200 ml bottles a day alongside solid food. The boxes are smaller than most (400 g), so you need more of them. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide.
Which stage comes after Holle Goat Stage 2?
Holle Goat Stage 3, from 10 months onwards.
