HiPP Hypoallergenic Stage 2 is designed for little ones from six months and up and primarily for infants who are at risk of allergies or have shown signs of sensitivity to cow's milk proteins. It is not suitable for infants who are diagnosed with Cow Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA). It’s made from the same organic cow’s milk as all regular HiPP formulas, but with the proteins broken down so your baby’s immune system can’t react to them. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 is a follow-on formula with hydrolysed whey protein for babies from 6 months, alongside solid foods. It is intended for babies with an increased risk of allergy — typically when a parent or sibling has eczema, asthma, hay fever or a food allergy. Speak to your doctor before choosing it.
Not suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy. Do not use HiPP HA if your baby has, or may have, a cow's milk protein allergy. Its protein is not broken down far enough for babies with this allergy; they need a formula recommended by their doctor.
It contains natural lactic acid cultures and prebiotic fibres (GOS), and has no starch, maltodextrin, added sweeteners or soy.

How to prepare and store
Wash your hands well and sterilise the bottle, teat and ring for 10 minutes in boiling water.
Step 1:
Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approx. 40–50 °C.*
Step 2:
Pour the cooled water in the correct amount into the bottle.
Step 3:
Fill the measuring scoop loosely and level it off. Add the recommended amount of milk powder to the bottle.
Step 4:
Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
Step 5:
Allow to cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). Check the temperature. Now it is ready!
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid bacteria, it is advisable not to pour boiling water over the milk powder.
Always use 1 measuring scoop (4.5 g) for 30 ml of water. Standard preparation: 13.4 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml of reconstituted milk. One tin makes 59 bottles of 100 ml. Babies need approx. 5 meals per day; with every new meal of solid food, one bottle feed should be dropped. The recommended amounts and number of portions per day are guidelines; your child does not have to finish the bottle. To be consumed as part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. HiPP HA 2 Combiotik® is tailored to the special nutritional needs of your baby from 6 months. It must not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life; it is only suitable as particular nutrition for infants aged at least six months, as part of a varied diet.
Care Instructions:
- Important: improper preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. Follow the advice below carefully
- Use a carefully washed and sterilised bottle, teat and ring
- Use only the measuring scoop included in this tin
- Always prepare the bottle just before the feed and give it to your baby immediately; the bottle must be consumed within half an hour
- Do not heat the milk in the microwave (risk of scalding)
- Do not reuse leftover milk
- Check the best-before date on the bottom of the tin. After opening, the well-closed tin of HiPP HA 2 Combiotik® powder can be kept for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature
- Do not use in case of a cow's milk protein allergy or a suspicion thereof
- If you give this milk from a bottle, do not let your child suck on it for long periods. Regular or prolonged contact of the teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can cause tooth decay. Teach your child good dental hygiene from the first milk teeth – especially before bedtime

Yes. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 also contains higher iron levels than HA Stage 1 to support your growing baby.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain probiotics?
Yes. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contains natural lactic acid cultures originally derived from breast milk, alongside prebiotic fibres (GOS).
How is HiPP Dutch HA different from regular HiPP Dutch formula?
The main difference is the protein. In HiPP Dutch HA the whey protein is hydrolysed — broken into smaller pieces — while regular HiPP Dutch uses intact milk protein. Both are lactose-only and starch-free, but HiPP Dutch HA is not organic.
How is HiPP Dutch HA different from HiPP German HA?
The recipes are the same: HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 and HiPP German HA Stage 2 have the same ingredients and nutrient levels. The differences are the packaging — an 800 g can for the Dutch version and a 600 g box for the German one — and the language on the pack.
How many bottles does one can of HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 make?
Each can contains 800 g of powder and makes approximately 5.9 litres (200 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 29 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many cans of HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 4 cans a month from 6 to 8 months, dropping to around 3 a month from 8 to 12 months as solid foods increase. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
What comes after HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2?
HA Stage 2 is the last HiPP Dutch HA stage we carry. From 12 months, talk to your doctor about whether your child still needs a hydrolysed formula or can move to a regular toddler milk or cow's milk.
