Product Description

Is your baby lactose intolerant? Does your little one have problems digesting animal milk-based infant formulas? Would you like to bring your little one up in a sustainable and vegetarian manner? If your answer to one or more of these questions is yes, then you may need to consider making a switch to hypoallergenic baby formula for your little bundle of joy.

As a matter of fact, the proteins present in the hypoallergenic formula can also be referred to as elemental formula because they have been pre-digested and pre-digestion results in the breakdown of large milk proteins into smaller ones.

When should I consider a hypoallergenic baby formula?

We understand that all parents want the best for their babies, and that’s why we all collectively go above and beyond in order to provide our offspring with the best quality of life. As a matter of fact, we understand that a lot of new and seasoned parents need help deciphering when their babies might need to make the switch to hypoallergenic baby formulas.

According to the American Academy of Pediatricians, only infants with apparent medical symptoms that would suggest the need for unique formula should be considered for hypoallergenic baby formula usage.

Types of Hypoallergenic baby formulas

Pediatricians often recommend hypoallergenic baby formulas for usage on babies who have a problem digesting cow’s milk-based formula – or other animal milk-based formulas.

Partially Hydrolyzed HBF is when proteins are only slightly broken down, and this type of formula is loosely associated with generally accepted definitions of a hypoallergenic baby formula.

On the other hand, extensively hydrolyzed HBF contains only the smallest milk proteins, while free amino acid-based HBF involves the splitting of proteins in their building blocks – amino acids, and this class of HBF is traditionally more expensive.

How can I tell if my baby needs unique formula?

A lot of times, due to the love we have for our kids, we may overreact to perfectly normal behaviors in our babies. The fear of seeing things that do not exist leads to confusion when parents try to ascertain whether or not their babies require unique formulas.

A general rule of thumb is that if you notice one or more of the following in your baby, they may have special dietary needs; diarrhea, vomiting, eczema, wheezing, colic or extreme irritability, constipation, and more. Please reach out to a licensed physician.

Hypoallergenic Baby Formula

If your baby has allergies that restrict their diet, we firmly recommend trying out our Hypoallergenic baby formula; this will create a solid dietary foundation and make it easier for your baby to rise above their allergies.

Our HiPP Ha Stage 2 Combiotic Hypoallergenic Infant Milk Formula will ensure that your baby stays healthy as they grow older.
