Your baby is developing and growing more and more these days. Is your infant formula still relevant to their needs?
When you look at the list of baby formulas on the market, you will find that many of them are labeled “0-12 months”. Since their little bodies are not ready to digest whole milk just yet, infant formula is still an important source of all their nutritional needs. There are Stage 2 or Follow on Milk products that are the best whether you are weaning your baby off of breast milk after six months or your baby needs more iron in their diet.
Stage 2 formula is an option when your baby needs more iron in their diet. After six months, their iron reserves in their body are depleted so they need to be sure that they are getting plenty for their ever-growing bodies.
Another reason to opt for stage 2 formula is that your baby is getting hungrier. This is the time that they are starting solid foods, but their appetite continues to get bigger and bigger. If this is true with your little one, you may find that you are feeding them formula more often. Stage 2 formulas typically contain maltodextrin or starch to help baby feel fuller longer. You can check the ingredients on all of our stage 2 products here on our website.
If you are already feeding your baby organic formula from the makers of HiPP, Holle, Lebenswert, and Loulouka, they have formula milk for your older infant before you transition to whole milk.
