It has reduced lactose, which helps babies who don’t have enough of the gut enzyme lactase. It contains hydrolyzed whey protein, which is easier to break down so they absorb more nutrients.

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Before use, sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water.
Step 2:
Boil the water and allow it to cool to room temperature.
*We recommend boiling spring water.
Step 3:
Pour approximately half of the water into the bottle.
Step 4:
Fill the measuring spoon and level with a knife.
Step 5:
Add milk powder indicated in the table below.
Step 6:
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
Step 7:
Add the rest of the water and shake again.

Care Instructions:
- Expiration date is indicated on each box and sealed bag
- Keep away from heat and humidity
- Discard mixed unconsumed formula after 1 hour
- Once formula bag is open, use in the next 3 weeks.
- Formula is best when stored in stainless steel or glass containers

What age is HiPP Comfort for?
HiPP Comfort is suitable from birth and can be used as your baby's only milk. It is one formula for the whole first year, with no separate stages.
Is HiPP Comfort right for my baby?
HiPP Comfort is a food for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of wind, colic and constipation in babies. Use it under medical supervision and speak to your doctor before switching. Its milk protein is only partially broken down, so it is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy.
Is HiPP Comfort organic?
No. HiPP Comfort is not certified organic. It is made by HiPP in Germany under EU rules for special infant formulas.
Is HiPP Comfort gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. HiPP Comfort is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Is HiPP Comfort lactose-free?
No. It contains reduced lactose — about 2.7 g per 100 ml, compared with 6.9 g in HiPP German Stage Pre. The rest of its carbohydrate comes from maltodextrin and starch. Because it still contains lactose, it is not suitable for babies who must avoid lactose completely.
Does HiPP Comfort contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP Comfort also contains ARA (omega-6), iron and vitamins A, C and D.
Does HiPP Comfort contain probiotics?
Yes. HiPP Comfort contains natural lactic acid cultures originally derived from breast milk, alongside prebiotic fibres (GOS).
How is HiPP Comfort different from HiPP Anti-Reflux?
Both are special formulas from birth, for use under medical supervision. HiPP Comfort is for wind, colic and constipation: its milk protein is partially broken down and it has reduced lactose. HiPP Anti-Reflux is for babies who bring up milk often: it uses standard milk protein and is thickened with locust bean gum. Your doctor can help you decide which suits your baby.
How many bottles does one box of HiPP Comfort make?
Each box contains 600 g of powder and makes approximately 4.5 litres (155 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 22 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many boxes of HiPP Comfort do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 4 boxes in the first month, around 5 a month from two to four months, and 6 to 7 a month from five months. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
How long can my baby use HiPP Comfort?
Only for as long as your doctor recommends and your baby needs it. Your doctor can advise when to move back to a standard formula.
What should I do if HiPP Comfort doesn't help?
Go back to your doctor. Ongoing crying, wind or constipation can have other causes, and your doctor can advise on next steps, including whether a different formula is needed.
Do I have to pay import duties on orders to Canada?
