How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly.
Step 2:
Check the closure and protective foil for perfect condition before use. Shake the still-sealed bottle vigorously before opening it for the first time.
Step 3:
Unscrew the cap and peel off the protective foil. Pour the required amount into a feeding bottle and warm it to approx. 40 °C. Do not heat the food in the microwave (risk of scalding!).
Step 4:
Allow to cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C) and check the temperature before feeding. Feed immediately and discard any leftovers.
Use: ideal for supplementary feeding, and as the sole ready-to-drink food from birth. Each bottle contains 90 ml; a carton contains 24 bottles.
* Unless your doctor recommends otherwise. ** From the 5th month you can, in consultation with your paediatrician or midwife, start with solid food. With every new and fully introduced solid meal, one bottle feed should be dropped. Every baby is different; the amount per bottle can vary considerably. The amounts and number of portions per day are guidelines. Your baby does not have to finish the bottle.
Care Instructions:
- Follow the instructions for preparation carefully. Improper preparation and storage of the prepared food can harm your baby's health, e.g. through the growth of undesirable germs
- Store an opened, unwarmed bottle closed in the refrigerator (max. 6 °C) and use within 24 hours
- Packed under a protective atmosphere. Store dry at room temperature. Make sure the packaging is undamaged before use
- Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Please speak to your paediatrician or midwife if you would like to use an infant formula
- Like breast milk, all infant formulas contain carbohydrates. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with carbohydrate-containing liquids can cause tooth decay. Do not let your child suck on the bottle continuously

Please look on the bottle for the advised number of feeds per day and liquid formula quantity per feed.
How is HiPP DE different from HiPP Dutch or HiPP UK?
All HiPP formulas are certified organic and designed to provide your baby with all the nutrition they need to grow healthy and happy. There are some small differences in the ingredients. HiPP DE Stage Pre contains organic starch to make it extra creamy and filling, but some babies find this hard to digest. HiPP Dutch and HiPP UK are starch-free. Both HiPP DE and HiPP Dutch contain natural probiotics originally cultured from breastmilk, which aren’t found in HiPP UK.
Does HiPP DE contain maltodextrin or corn syrup?
No, HiPP DE does not contain maltodextrin, corn syrup or any other artificial sweeteners. Instead, it provides energy and carbs through natural lactose, just like real breastmilk.
