Ingredients and nutritional information

Skimmed milk*, lactose*, whey product*, vegetable oils* (sunflower oil*, rapeseed oil*), whole milk powder* 19%, calcium carbonate, fish oil, potassium chloride, emulsifier lecithins* (soy), sodium citrate, L-tyrosine, vitamin C, L-tryptophan, magnesium carbonate, calcium orthophosphates, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, niacin, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, cupric sulphate, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, potassium iodate, folic acid, manganese sulphate, sodium selenite, vitamin K, vitamin D, D-biotin.

How to prepare and store

Step 1:

Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approx. 40–50 °C.

Step 2:

Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see feeding table) into a feeding bottle.

Step 3:

Measure the recommended amount of powder (see feeding table). Fill the scoop loosely and level it off. Add the powder to the water.

Step 4:

Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.

Step 5:

Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). Check the temperature.

1 level scoop = approx. 4.3 g. Standard preparation: 12.8 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml of ready-to-drink formula. One scoop of powder needs 30 ml of water. One pack makes 39 bottles of 100 ml. Babies need approx. 5 meals a day; with every new, fully introduced complementary meal, one bottle feed should be dropped. Every baby is different: the amounts and number of feeds per day are guidelines only, and your baby does not have to finish the bottle. HiPP 3 PUR is tailored to the special nutritional needs of your baby from the 10th month, as a complement to solid food: following breastfeeding or any follow-on formula. Follow-on formula should not be used as a breast-milk substitute in the first six months; ask your paediatrician or midwife for advice if your baby needs it earlier as part of a mixed diet.

Care Instructions:

Follow the instructions exactly; improper preparation and storage of the prepared formula can harm your baby's health, e.g. through the growth of undesirable germs
Prepare the formula freshly before every meal and feed immediately; do not reuse leftovers
Use only the enclosed measuring scoop
Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly
Do not heat the formula in the microwave (risk of scalding)
Reseal the opened bag well after use, store dry at room temperature and use within 3 weeks
Like breast milk, all infant formulas contain carbohydrates. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay. Do not let your child suck on the bottle continuously, and let your child drink from a cup as early as possible

What age is HiPP Pure German Stage 3 for?

HiPP Pure German Stage 3 is a follow-on formula for babies from 10 months, alongside a varied diet. From 12 months, move on to HiPP Pure German Stage 4.

Is HiPP Pure German Stage 3 right for my baby?

HiPP Pure German Stage 3 is a follow-on formula for healthy babies from 10 months, designed to complement solid foods rather than replace them. It is made with organic whole milk fat instead of palm oil and uses lactose as its only carbohydrate. If your baby has a diagnosed food allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 3 contain GMOs, pesticides or hormones?

No. HiPP Pure German Stage 3 is EU organic certified and made without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, added hormones or antibiotics. Added sugars such as corn syrup, glucose syrup and sucrose are never used in HiPP formula.

Is HiPP Pure German Stage 3 gluten-free and soy-free?

It is gluten-free, but not completely soy-free: it contains a small amount of organic soy lecithin as an emulsifier. If your baby has a soy allergy, speak to your paediatrician before using it.

Is HiPP Pure German Stage 3 palm oil free?

Yes. HiPP Pure German Stage 3 is made without palm oil, using organic sunflower and rapeseed oil together with organic whole milk fat.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 3 contain starch or maltodextrin?

No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 3 contain DHA?

Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP Pure German Stage 3 also contains iron, calcium and vitamin D.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 3 contain probiotics?

No. HiPP Pure German contains no lactic acid cultures and no prebiotic fibres (GOS). If you'd like a HiPP formula with both, HiPP German Combiotik and HiPP Dutch contain them.

How is HiPP Pure German different from HiPP German Combiotik?

HiPP Pure German is palm oil free and made with organic whole milk fat, and every stage is starch-free. HiPP German Combiotik uses palm oil, contains natural lactic acid cultures and prebiotic fibres (GOS), and includes organic starch in Stages 1 to 3. HiPP Pure German also contains a small amount of soy lecithin. Both are EU organic certified and made in Germany.

How many bottles does one box of HiPP Pure German Stage 3 make?

Each box contains 500 g of powder and makes approximately 3.9 litres (130 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 19 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.

How many boxes of HiPP Pure German Stage 3 do I need per month?

If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 4.5 to 5 boxes a month, based on three 200 ml bottles a day alongside solid food. The boxes are smaller than most (500 g), so you need more of them. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide.

Which stage comes after HiPP Pure German Stage 3?

HiPP Pure German Stage 4, from 12 months onwards.
