Ingredients and nutritional information

Skimmed milk*, lactose*, vegetable oils* (sunflower oil*, rapeseed oil*), whole milk powder* 19%, calcium carbonate, fish oil, emulsifier lecithins* (soy), sodium citrate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, vitamin C, magnesium carbonate, L-tryptophan, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, vitamin E, niacin, pantothenic acid, cupric sulphate, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, calcium orthophosphates, potassium iodate, folic acid, sodium selenite, vitamin K, D-biotin, vitamin D, manganese sulphate, vitamin B12.

How to prepare and store

Step 1:

Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approx. 40–50 °C.

Step 2:

Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see feeding table) into a feeding bottle.

Step 3:

Measure the recommended amount of powder (see feeding table). Fill the scoop loosely and level it off. Add the powder to the water.

Step 4:

Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.

Step 5:

Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). Check the temperature.

1 level scoop = approx. 3.9 g. Standard preparation: 11.7 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml of ready-to-drink milk. One scoop of powder needs 30 ml of water. One pack makes 42 portions of 100 ml. The recommended amount is 300 ml a day; the amounts per day are guidelines only, and your child does not have to finish the cup. HiPP PUR Kindermilch is ideal from the 12th month as part of a meal at breakfast, in muesli or at dinner, and can be given following any other follow-on formula. It should not be used as a breast-milk substitute in the first six months; ensure a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Care Instructions:

Follow the instructions exactly; improper preparation and storage of the prepared formula can harm your baby's health, e.g. through the growth of undesirable germs
Prepare the formula freshly before every meal and feed immediately; do not reuse leftovers
Use only the enclosed measuring scoop
Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly
Do not heat the formula in the microwave (risk of scalding)
Reseal the opened bag well after use, store dry at room temperature and use within 3 weeks
HiPP PUR Kindermilch is intended for children from the 12th month to drink from a cup. If you do give it from a bottle, do not let your child suck on it continuously. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay. Take care to brush teeth thoroughly from the very first teeth – especially before bedtime

It is made with organic whole milk fat instead of palm oil and uses lactose as its only carbohydrate. If your child has a diagnosed food allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 4 contain GMOs, pesticides or hormones?

No. HiPP Pure German Stage 4 is EU organic certified and made without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, added hormones or antibiotics. Added sugars such as corn syrup, glucose syrup and sucrose are never used in HiPP formula.

Is HiPP Pure German Stage 4 gluten-free and soy-free?

It is gluten-free, but not completely soy-free: it contains a small amount of organic soy lecithin as an emulsifier. If your child has a soy allergy, speak to your paediatrician before using it.

Is HiPP Pure German Stage 4 palm oil free?

Yes. HiPP Pure German Stage 4 is made without palm oil, using organic sunflower and rapeseed oil together with organic whole milk fat.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 4 contain starch or maltodextrin?

No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 4 contain DHA?

Yes. HiPP Pure German Stage 4 contains DHA (omega-3), alongside calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children.

Does HiPP Pure German Stage 4 contain probiotics?

No. HiPP Pure German contains no lactic acid cultures and no prebiotic fibres (GOS). If you'd like a HiPP formula with both, HiPP German Combiotik and HiPP Dutch contain them.

How is HiPP Pure German different from HiPP German Combiotik?

HiPP Pure German is palm oil free and made with organic whole milk fat, and every stage is starch-free. HiPP German Combiotik uses palm oil, contains natural lactic acid cultures and prebiotic fibres (GOS), and includes organic starch in Stages 1 to 3. HiPP Pure German also contains a small amount of soy lecithin. Both are EU organic certified and made in Germany.

How many servings does one box of HiPP Pure German Stage 4 make?

Each box contains 500 g of powder and makes approximately 4.3 litres (145 fl oz) of prepared milk — around 21 servings of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.

How many boxes of HiPP Pure German Stage 4 do I need per month?

If formula is your toddler's only milk, expect about 3 boxes a month, based on two 200 ml servings a day alongside a varied diet. Every child is different, so treat this as a guide.
