How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Before use, sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water.
Step 2:
Boil the water and allow it to cool to room temperature.
*We recommend boiling spring water
Step 3:
Pour approximately half of the water into the bottle.
Step 4:
Fill the measuring spoon and level with a knife.
Step 5:
Add milk powder indicated in the table below.
Step 6:
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
Step 7:
Add the rest of the water and shake again.
Care Instructions:
- Expiration date is indicated on each box and sealed bag
- Keep away from heat and humidity
- Discard mixed unconsumed formula after 1 hour
- Once formula bag is open, use in the next 3 weeks.
- Formula is best when stored in stainless steel or glass containers
- Always prepare fresh food for your baby. Do not use leftovers.
- To avoid the danger of overheating, do not heat your baby’s milk in the microwave.

What age is HiPP Pure German Pre for?
HiPP Pure German Pre is suitable from birth and can be used as your baby's only milk or alongside breastfeeding. From 6 months, you can move on to HiPP Pure German Stage 2.
Is HiPP Pure German Pre right for my baby?
HiPP Pure German Pre is a complete infant formula for healthy babies from birth. It is made with organic whole milk fat instead of palm oil, and uses lactose as its only carbohydrate. If your baby has a diagnosed food allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.
Does HiPP Pure German Pre contain GMOs, pesticides or hormones?
No. HiPP Pure German Pre is EU organic certified and made without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, added hormones or antibiotics. Added sugars such as corn syrup, glucose syrup and sucrose are never used in HiPP formula.
Is HiPP Pure German Pre gluten-free and soy-free?
It is gluten-free, but not completely soy-free: it contains a small amount of organic soy lecithin as an emulsifier. If your baby has a soy allergy, speak to your paediatrician before using it.
Is HiPP Pure German Pre palm oil free?
Yes. HiPP Pure German Pre is made without palm oil, using organic sunflower and rapeseed oil together with organic whole milk fat.
Does HiPP Pure German Pre contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP Pure German Pre contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP Pure German Pre also contains ARA (omega-6), iron and vitamins A, C and D.
Does HiPP Pure German Pre contain probiotics?
No. HiPP Pure German contains no lactic acid cultures and no prebiotic fibres (GOS). If you'd like a HiPP formula with both, HiPP German Combiotik and HiPP Dutch contain them.
How is HiPP Pure German different from HiPP German Combiotik?
HiPP Pure German is palm oil free and made with organic whole milk fat, and every stage is starch-free. HiPP German Combiotik uses palm oil, contains natural lactic acid cultures and prebiotic fibres (GOS), and includes organic starch in Stages 1 to 3. HiPP Pure German also contains a small amount of soy lecithin. Both are EU organic certified and made in Germany.
What is the difference between HiPP Pure German Pre and Stage 1?
Very little. Both are suitable from birth, palm oil free and lactose-only. HiPP Pure German Stage 1 has slightly more energy and lactose per 100 ml (67 kcal versus 65 kcal). Either can be used from birth until your baby moves on to HiPP Pure German Stage 2 at 6 months.
How many bottles does one box of HiPP Pure German Pre make?
Each box contains 500 g of powder and makes approximately 4 litres (135 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 20 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many boxes of HiPP Pure German Pre do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 5 boxes in the first month, around 6 a month from two to four months, and 7 to 8 a month from five months. The boxes are smaller than most (500 g), so you need more of them. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
Which stage comes after HiPP Pure German Pre?
