HiPP HA Stage 1 Sachets contain the same formula as the standard HiPP HA Stage 1 tin — designed for babies from birth with an increased risk of allergy, typically when a parent or sibling has eczema, asthma, hay fever, or a food allergy.
The whey protein is hydrolysed, meaning it is broken into smaller pieces that are less likely to trigger an allergic reaction. Lactose is the only carbohydrate, with no starch, maltodextrin, added sweeteners, or soy.
Important: HiPP HA Stage 1 is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed or suspected cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA). Always consult your doctor before choosing a hypoallergenic formula.
The sachet format makes it easy to hand off to daycare, grandparents, or any caregiver — each 22g sachet makes one bottle with no measuring required.

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Boil 150 ml fresh drinking water and allow it to cool down to approx. 40–50 °C.*
Step 2:
Pour the prepared water into the feeding bottle.
Step 3:
Add the entire content of the sachet to the water.
Step 4:
Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
Step 5:
Allow it to cool down to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C) – check temperature. It amounts to a portion of 170 ml.
*In order not to harm the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the formula with water that is too hot.
Care Instructions:
- Prepare the formula freshly before every meal, feed immediately and dispose of any leftovers
- Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly
- Do not warm up formula in the microwave (risk of scalding)
- Store the unopened sachet in a dry place at room temperature; best before date is printed on the sachet

What is the difference between HiPP HA Stage PRE and HA Stage 1?

There is no need to switch from PRE to Stage 1; either can be used until moving to HA Stage 2 at 6 months.
