Organic skimmed milk, organic whey product, organic vegetable oils (organic palm oil, organic rapeseed oil, organic sunflower oil), organic lactose, organic galacto-oligosaccharides from organic lactose, potassium chloride, fish oil, Mortierella alpina-oil, choline, sodium citrate, L-phenylalanine, calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, L-tryptophan, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, L-histidine, zinc sulphate, ferrous sulphate, vitamin C, vitamin E, niacin, pantothenic acid, cupric sulphate, vitamin A, vitamin B1, potassium iodate, vitamin B6, folic acid (calcium-L-methylfolate*), sodium selenite, vitamin K, manganese sulphate, vitamin D, D-biotin, vitamin B12.

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Wash hands and sterilise all equipment following the manufacturers' instructions.
Step 2:
Boil 1 litre of freshly run water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
Step 3:
Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the feeding guide).
Step 4:
Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder. Level off using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
Step 5:
Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all powder has dissolved (approx. 15 seconds).
Step 6:
Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C) by holding the bottle under cold running water, and feed immediately. ALWAYS test the temperature of the milk before feeding.
1 scoop = approx. 4.3 g powder. Standard preparation: 12.9 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml prepared feed. One tin makes approx. 62 feeds of 100 ml. This table is a guide only; your baby should be fed on demand, particularly in the first few weeks, and may need more or less than the volumes stated. If you need more advice, please contact your healthcare professional. The feeding guide on the tin also lists the approximate weight of the baby: 3.3 kg (0–2 weeks), 3.8 kg (3–4 weeks), 4.6 kg (5–8 weeks), 5.35–6.7 kg (2–4 months), 7.2 kg (5 months), 7.6 kg (about 6 months). Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not being breastfed; it is recommended that HiPP Organic First Infant Milk is only used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian or pharmacist.
Care Instructions:
- Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile
- Only use the scoop provided in the pack
- Feeds should not be made weaker or stronger than indicated and nothing else should be added
- Always freshly prepare feeds and use immediately
- For hygiene reasons, do not prepare in advance and throw away any unfinished feeds within 2 hours
- Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding
- Never leave your baby alone during feeding
- Store in a cool dry place, do not refrigerate
- Use within 3 weeks of opening
- When bottle feeding, avoid prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay

What age is HiPP UK Stage 1 for?
HiPP UK Stage 1 is a first infant milk, suitable from birth. It can be used as your baby's only milk or alongside breastfeeding. From 6 months, you can move on to HiPP UK Stage 2.
Is HiPP UK Stage 1 right for my baby?
HiPP UK Stage 1 is a complete first infant milk for healthy babies from birth. It uses lactose as its only carbohydrate and is free from starch and maltodextrin. If your baby has a diagnosed food allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 contain GMOs, pesticides or hormones?
No. HiPP UK Stage 1 is EU organic certified and made without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, added hormones or antibiotics. Added sugars such as corn syrup, glucose syrup and sucrose are never used in HiPP formula.
Is HiPP UK Stage 1 gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. HiPP UK Stage 1 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP UK Stage 1 also contains ARA (omega-6), iron and vitamins A, C and D.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 contain probiotics?
No. HiPP UK contains prebiotic fibres (GOS) but no lactic acid cultures. If you want a HiPP formula with probiotics, HiPP Dutch and HiPP German both contain natural lactic acid cultures.
How is HiPP UK different from HiPP Dutch and HiPP German?
All three are made in Germany and EU organic certified. HiPP UK is the British recipe: it is lactose-only and starch-free like HiPP Dutch, and contains prebiotic fibres (GOS) but no probiotics. HiPP Dutch adds natural lactic acid cultures, and most HiPP German stages include organic starch. HiPP UK also comes with English-language packaging.
How many bottles does one can of HiPP UK Stage 1 make?
Each can contains 800 g of powder and makes approximately 6.2 litres (210 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 31 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many cans of HiPP UK Stage 1 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 3 cans in the first month, around 4 a month from two to four months, and about 5 a month from five months. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
Which stage comes after HiPP UK Stage 1?
HiPP UK Stage 2, from 6 months onwards.
