How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Wash hands well. Check best before date, and that cap and seal is intact. Do not use teat if there are any signs of damage or weakness.
Step 2:
Shake bottle well. Heat to drinking temperature (37 °C) by standing the bottle in warm water. Shake bottle again.
Step 3:
Remove lid and foil seal. Attach a single-use ready to use teat. Check temperature of milk before feeding. Feed immediately.
Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill. Note: it is normal for some sediment to be found at the bottom of the bottle before shaking.

Important notice: Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not being breastfed. It is recommended that HiPP Organic first infant milk is only used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian or pharmacist. When bottle feeding, avoid prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with teeth, when they appear, as this increases the risk of tooth decay.

- Never leave your baby alone during feeding
- Discard unfinished milk in the bottle at the end of a feed
- Bottles and teats are for single use only, please dispose after use
- If decanting part of the contents into a sterilised bottle, remaining contents can be stored in a fridge for up to 24 hours
- Store dry and at room temperature (out of direct sunlight)
- Do not freeze
- Packed in a protective atmosphere. Please check that the cap and seal are intact before use
- Never use teats as a soother
- Keep components not in use out of reach of children
- Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing. The child can be strangled

What age is the HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed Starter Pack for?
It is a first infant milk, suitable from birth. The small 90 ml bottles are designed for the newborn weeks, when feeds are small, and can be used as your baby's only milk or alongside breastfeeding.
Is HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed the same as the powder?
It is the ready-to-drink version of HiPP UK Stage 1: the same stage and age range, supplied as a liquid so there is no powder to measure and no water to boil. The liquid recipe differs slightly from the powder, so check the nutrition table if you are comparing the two.
How do I use the starter pack?
Shake the bottle well and open it. You can attach one of the teats supplied in the pack and feed straight from the bottle, or pour the milk into a clean, sterilised feeding bottle. It can be given at room temperature — never warm it in a microwave. Discard any milk left over after a feed.
How long does an opened bottle keep?
Once opened, close the bottle, keep it in the fridge and use it within 24 hours. Unopened bottles can be stored at room temperature until the best-before date.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed contain GMOs, pesticides or hormones?
No. HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed is EU organic certified and made without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, added hormones or antibiotics. Added sugars such as corn syrup, glucose syrup and sucrose are never used in HiPP formula.
Is HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed gluten-free and soy-free?
It is gluten-free. It contains organic lecithin as an emulsifier, so if your baby has a soy allergy, check the allergen information on the pack or ask your paediatrician before using it.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP UK Stage 1 Ready-to-Feed contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. It also contains ARA (omega-6), prebiotic fibres (GOS), iron and vitamins A, C and D.
How many 90 ml bottles does my baby need per day?
In the first weeks, one 90 ml bottle is roughly one feed. At 3 to 4 weeks, a baby fed only on formula drinks about 600 ml a day — around 7 bottles of 90 ml. As feeds get bigger, most families switch to the 200 ml bottles or to powder, and keep the starter pack for the hospital bag, travel or nights out.
Which stage comes after HiPP UK Stage 1?
HiPP UK Stage 2, from 6 months onwards — available as powder and as ready-to-feed.
