Is this product right for my baby?
Holle A2 Stage 3 is for babies aged from 10 months, either as a supplement to breastmilk or a complete replacement.
It’s made using natural, organic milk from specially selected cows who produce only easy-to-digest A2 milk proteins. It’s ideal if your baby is showing signs of digestive problems, but can’t tolerate goat’s milk formulas.
It’s also free of potentially harmful ingredients such as corn syrup, soy and added starch, which can also be hard for little tummies to break down.
We know that babies are often picky eaters, so if you find that your baby doesn’t like Holle A2 Stage 3, just let us know and we’ll give you store credit so you can choose another brand.

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Boil water and allow it to cool down to approx. 50 °C.
Step 2:
Pour half of the water into the feeding bottle.
Step 3:
Add the powder according to the feeding table (3 scoops, 13.2 g, with 90 ml of water make 100 ml of formula).
Step 4:
Shake vigorously.
Step 5:
Add the remaining water and shake again.
Step 6:
Allow to cool to approx. 37 °C.
Care Instructions:
- Prepare each bottle freshly; do not reuse leftovers
- Do not heat in the microwave
- Store protected from heat; best before date: see bottom of the pack
- After opening, store in a dry place (not in the refrigerator) and use within 3 weeks

What age is Holle A2 Stage 3 for?
Holle A2 Stage 3 is a follow-on formula for babies from 10 months, alongside a varied diet.
What is A2 milk?
Cow's milk contains two main types of beta-casein protein, A1 and A2. Holle A2 is made with milk from cows that produce only the A2 type. Some parents choose A2 formula because they feel it suits their baby better; research on the difference is still limited. It is ordinary cow's milk protein, not a hydrolysed or special formula.
Can Holle A2 Stage 3 be used for a cow's milk protein allergy?
No. Holle A2 is made with cow's milk protein and is not suitable for babies with a cow's milk protein allergy. Babies with this allergy need a formula recommended by their doctor. If your baby has, or may have, an allergy, speak to your paediatrician before choosing a formula.
Is Holle A2 Stage 3 organic?
Yes. Holle A2 Stage 3 is EU organic certified. It contains no GMOs and no added sugars such as corn syrup or sucrose.
Is Holle A2 Stage 3 gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. Holle A2 Stage 3 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does Holle A2 Stage 3 contain starch or maltodextrin?
Yes. Alongside lactose, Holle A2 Stage 3 contains maltodextrin and a small amount of organic starch (0.8 g per 100 ml). If you prefer a lactose-only formula at this age, HiPP Dutch Stage 3 or HiPP Pure German Stage 3 may suit you better.
Does Holle A2 Stage 3 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. The DHA in Holle comes from algae rather than fish oil. Holle A2 Stage 3 also contains iron, calcium and vitamins A, C and D.
Does Holle A2 Stage 3 contain probiotics?
No. Holle formula contains no lactic acid cultures and no added prebiotic fibres such as GOS.
How is Holle A2 different from regular Holle formula?
The milk is the difference: Holle A2 uses milk from cows that produce only A2 beta-casein, while regular Holle uses standard organic cow's milk. Nutrient levels are very similar. Regular Holle has a large share of Demeter biodynamic ingredients; Holle A2 is EU organic. If you want A2 protein from a different animal, Holle's goat's milk formulas naturally contain it.
Does Holle A2 Stage 3 contain palm oil?
Yes. Holle A2 Stage 3 contains palm oil from sustainable cultivation, together with sunflower and rapeseed oil.
How many bottles does one box of Holle A2 Stage 3 make?
Each box contains 400 g of powder and makes approximately 3 litres (100 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 15 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many boxes of Holle A2 Stage 3 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 2.5 to 3 boxes a month, based on two 200 ml bottles a day alongside a varied diet. The boxes are smaller than most (400 g), so you need more of them. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide.
What comes after Holle A2 Stage 3?
Stage 3 is the last stage in the Holle A2 range. From 12 months, you could move to Holle Stage 4 or Holle Dutch Stage 4, or talk to your doctor about regular cow's milk alongside a varied diet.
