How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Clean hands, bottle, teat and ring thoroughly.
Step 2:
Shake the bottle well before use.
Step 3:
Pour the required amount into a feeding bottle.
Step 4:
Warm to approx. 37 °C (in a water bath) – not in the microwave!
Use: suitable for the particular nutritional use by infants from birth when they are not or not sufficiently breastfed. Can be given as often as your baby needs. Compatible with size 1 teats (thread Ø 4 cm). Each bottle contains 200 ml.
Important notice: Breastfeeding is ideal for your child. Seek advice from a healthcare professional if you wish to use this product. Do not let your baby suck on the bottle continuously. Constant contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay, so make sure your baby's teeth are properly cared for from the first tooth.

What age is Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed for?
Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed is suitable from birth and can be used as your baby's only milk or alongside breastfeeding, right through the first six months.
Is Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed the same as the powder?
It covers the same ages as Holle Pre and Stage 1 powder, supplied as a liquid so there is no powder to measure and no water to boil. The liquid recipe is not identical: it is palm oil free, and it adds prebiotic fibres (GOS) and taurine, which the powders do not contain.
How do I use ready-to-feed formula?
Shake the carton well, open it and pour the amount your baby needs into a clean, sterilised feeding bottle. It can be given at room temperature, or warmed by standing the bottle in warm water — never in a microwave. Discard any milk left over after a feed.
How long does an opened carton keep?
Once opened, close the carton, keep it in the fridge and use it within 24 hours. Unopened cartons can be stored at room temperature until the best-before date.
Is Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed organic?
Yes. Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed is EU organic certified. It contains no GMOs and no added sugars such as corn syrup or sucrose.
Is Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. It is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free — the lecithin used as an emulsifier comes from sunflower, not soy.
Does Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its main carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed contain palm oil?
No. Unlike the Holle cow's milk powders, the ready-to-feed version is made without palm oil, using organic sunflower and rapeseed oil.
Does Holle Pre/1 Ready-to-Feed contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. The DHA in Holle comes from algae rather than fish oil. This version also contains ARA (omega-6) and prebiotic fibres (GOS).
How many 200 ml cartons does my baby need per day?
If ready-to-feed is your baby's only milk, expect about 3 to 4 cartons a day in the early weeks, rising to around 5 a day by four months. Many families use ready-to-feed alongside powder — for night feeds, days out or travel. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide.
Which stage comes after Holle Pre/1?
